Fluke 287 True-rms Electronics Logging Multimeter
EVERETT, Wa. - Fluke Corporation, the global leader in handheld electronic test and measurement technology, today announced the Fluke 287 True-rms Electronics Logging Multimeter with TrendCapture. A high-accuracy logging digital multimeter designed with advanced features for electronics professionals, the Fluke 287 has logging and graphing capability that enables users to quickly document design performance and see trend information directly on the meter display without waiting to download logged readings to a PC.
The Fluke 287 features a large 50,000-count 1/4 VGA display with a white backlight that can simultaneously display multiple sets of measurement information. It has a logging memory capacity of up to 10,000 readings and is capable of logging multiple sessions without downloading, so users can set the meter up for unattended monitoring in the field and review logged readings without access to a PC.
The Fluke 287 includes context-sensitive onboard help screens and customizable instrument setup designed to save time and increase productivity. It features multiple save options and automatic time stamping for convenient recall of measurements made in the field. Optional FlukeView® forms PC software enables users to document, store and analyze individual readings or a series of measurements, and then convert them into professional-looking reports.
For accurate measurement on complex signals or non-linear loads, the Fluke 287 has true-rms voltage and current functionality, with ac bandwidth specified to 100 kHz. The meter has a 0.025 percent basic dc accuracy and a 50 mF capacitance range, and is capable of measuring up to 10 A (or 20 A for 30 seconds). It includes a temperature function, relative mode that removes test lead resistance from low ohms or capacitance measurements, and peak capture to record transients as fast as 250 microseconds.
