CAMBRIDGE, On. - Working on today’s high tech vehicles can be demanding enough without the added stress from tripping over or getting tangled up in the trouble light’s power cord.
This high output work light runs for over 5 hours on a single charge and can be re-charged up to 1000 times before changing batteries. The key to the illumination is a high-performance Luxeon® LED on a specially designed reflector that enables the WorkStar™ to deliver almost 100% of its light to the work area with a bulb that never needs replacing. The compact lighting tool snaps on to any metal surface thanks to 2 powerful rare earth magnets. The light can also be suspended from any work area components with its self-contained, retractable hook. Unlike other work lights, the WorkStar™ features a two axis moveable light head letting the technician focus the light exactly where he needs it. This solves an especially aggravating problem faced by mechanics every day, and that is, trying to repair a vehicle while their work light glares into their eyes.
The compact lighting tool is small enough to easily fit in tight soaces such as under the dash and in restrivted areas in the engine bay and under the car. The WorkStar weighs in at about 1 pound and as aresult of its ergonomic design and balance, is comfortable to use for extended periods of time.
The smart charger will fully charge the long life batteries in about 3 hours, up to 1000 times. The work light will operate on a partial charge, and will also run when it is plugged into the charger. There is no need to fully dischrge the batteries before re-charging.
