MR-16 Bulbs with Cree X-RE LEDs from Cutter Electronics
MELBOURNE, Australia - Cutter Electronics introduces an addition to its line of drop-in replacement MR16 LED bulbs: The new 3Watt LED MR16 and 3 x 1 watt LED MR16. These new 3Watt MR16 LED bulbs have two big advantages over older MR16 LED bulbs. They are designed to make variations in voltages that may accompany “noisy” or “dirty” AC or DC power supplies, transparent, eliminating failure due to unregulated voltage. Also the new 3Watt MR16 bulbs simplify inventory by covering a wide voltage range.

The new MR16 bulbs have the following characteristics; bi-pin bases just like standard incandescent MR16 bulbs, light output is 200 Lumens using only 3 Watts with 12Volts DC, and 240 lumens using only 3.8Watts with 18Volts DC. The bulb features three High-Power LEDs and is offered in Cool White (6500 Kelvin) and Warm White (3000 Kelvin) color temperatures. Both Warm and Cool Whites are offered in 30°, 45° and 60° beam angles.
One of the key features on the new globe is the secondary optic which provides excellent diffusion. The professional optical lens design, is made from high quality PMMA material, and designed exclusively for the CREE XR-E, this design uses PMMA with light transmission rates up to 92%.
