Producer of Outdoor Retailer Summer and Winter Markets moves dates for next two trade shows
Outdoor Retailer Winter Market
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Ca. - Reinforcing its commitment to support its exhibitors and retailers that may attend a series of trade shows, Outdoor Retailer Winter Market has responded to the market by adjusting both of the upcoming shows, Summer Market 2008 and Winter Market 2009, moving the shows later by one day.
The new dates are as follows:
OUTDOOR RETAILER SUMMER MARKET 2008 - August 8-11, 2008;
OPEN AIR DEMO 2008 AT PINEVIEW RESERVOIR - August 6-7, 2008;
OUTDOOR RETAILER WINTER MARKET 2009 - January 22-25, 2009; and
BACKCOUNTRY BASE CAMP AT SNOWBASIN 2009 - January 21, 2009.
Outdoor Retailer is currently looking at moving future show dates to accomplish the same goals.
“This schedule provides more time for setup in Salt Lake City, avoids higher travel and accommodations costs around the Martin Luther King Holiday, and minimizes overtime costs to all companies on both setup and teardown,” said Kenji Haroutunian, show director for Outdoor Retailer. “We realize the challenges presented by this busy schedule and are doing the best we possibly can to be sensitive to the needs of our exhibitors.”
Outdoor Retailer has worked to re-contract with all hotels, venues (including Snowbasin for the BBC), and the Salt Lake City Convention and Visitors Bureau to assure a smooth transition for all booked space. Reservations for housing at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2008 and/or Winter Market 2009 will automatically be adjusted. Attendees will receive new confirmations from the housing bureau in Salt Lake City. New reservations can be made by following the instructions at www.visitsaltlake.com/r/or/or-travel.htm.
