SureFire E1B Backup™ Flashlight - Winner, Specialty Product of the Year!

WINDSOR, Ct. - The Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence presented SureFire® with two top awards, Accessory of the Year for the X300®, and Specialty Product of the Year for the E1B Backup™. The L.E.O. ® folding knife placed in the top three in the Knife of the Year category, and the EP400 SWAT EARS® took top three honors for Safety Product of the Year.

The awards were presented during a special reception in Windsor, Connecticut, in conjunction with the Shooting Industry Masters held at the Hartford Gun Club. 10 product awards and four service awards are handed out each year after being voted on by members of the industry.

The 500 members of the Academy considered 43 nominees for these prestigious awards. In the first round of voting, the academy considered 150 entries in 14 categories before selecting the final 43 nominees for the final ballot. SureFire wound up with four nominations total and took home top honors in two of these competitive categories!
