KINGSTON, Ma. - Brite-Strike Tactical Illumination Products, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BSTI) announced today that its Board of Directors approved the buyback of up to 2 million shares of its common stock in the open market over the next 6 months.

"We believe our current share price significantly undervalues the growth potential of our business model," said Glenn Bushee, President of Brite-Strike. "Although our revenues this year were almost double last year, we believe the real exponential growth will start in 2009. We are building a brand, and pioneering a defensive tool that can disarm assailants from over 20 feet away. We receive testimonials from customers every day, many saying that this is one of the best products they have ever purchased. Parents are now purchasing lights and sending them to their sons in the military overseas. We will continue to pursue our initiatives with the military, police forces, and distributors around the world, until our passive defensive system becomes the world standard. We feel our company is uniquely positioned in this tough economic environment, with sales to Federal and state law enforcement agencies, as well as contracts with the DOE Security Forces at the nations' nuclear power plants, and potentially, the US Military."

In another related development, the company was informed that its "Blue-Dot" Tactical Flashlights, and its Tactical Balls, were given extremely favorable write-ups in the December issue of "Tactical Response" Magazine, one of the most widely followed trade magazines for military and law-enforcement professionals around the world. "This will be received very favorably when we attend the 'Shot Show' in Orlando, Florida during the month of January," said Mr. Bushee.
