WICHITA, Ks. - The Coleman Company, Inc. has named JoAnn K. Adams as Sr. Vice President, Global Human Resources. Adams will focus on overall business strategy for Coleman's global companies and with aligning a global Human Resources platform toward attainment of Coleman's 2.0 strategy.

Adams joins Coleman from Global Turnkey Solutions, a global supply chain outsourcing business, previously a division of Banta Corporation, acquired by RR Donnelley in 2007. Adams led a staff of 12 direct reports across North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. Her focus was on change management, operational excellence, human capital management and global talent assessment. She successfully shifted HR teams to focus on strategic issues and aligned the teams with business leadership to drive agreed outcomes.

Adams has an array of experience and successes in Fortune 500 companies, including Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Rockwell International. The overall scope of her experience includes a track record of building effective organizations with focus on strategic issues. She is experienced in the areas of organizational development and design, compensation and benefits, employee relations and diversity initiatives. Adams earned an A.B. from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and an M.S. from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pa.
