Surefire flashlights to be given away at Summer Market 2006 event; Hobie’s newest MirageDrive Kayak to be unveiled and awarded also

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Ca. - SureFire and Hobie Cat have teamed up to give away Hobie’s newest MirageDrive Kayak. It will be unveiled at the 2006 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market and awarded, via a drawing, to one lucky dealer who will be the first to own Hobie’s newest kayak. This first-place prize package, valued at over $1,900, also includes two SureFire flashlights— a selectable-output U2 Ultra™ and an E1L Outdoorsman, both featuring solid-state LED light sources. A SureFire E2L Outdoorsman (MSRP $129) will be awarded to the second-place winner, and a SureFire E1L Outdoorsman ($99) to the third-place winner.
“SureFire is excited to be partnering with such a respected company in the outdoor market and to be giving away such a great prize,” said Derek McDonald, SureFire’s director of marketing. “It’s going to be a great show for everyone involved.”
The yet to be unveiled Hobie Kayak will be on display and given away at the SureFire booth (#51002) on August 13th, 2006. Entry forms can be picked up at either booth, but must be stamped at the SureFire booth before being turned in at the Hobie Cat booth (#29001).
