New models include green LEDs for enhanced hunter safety without spooking game

EAGLEVILLE, Pa. - Three new camouflage flashlights have been added to the Streamlight® line. The all-new Twin-Task® Rechargeable LED/Xenon combination flashlight highlights the expanded line, which also includes camouflage versions of its popular Key-Mate® miniature flashlight and ClipMate® clip-on light. All three new lights feature green LEDs, which offer the ability to enhance an outdoorsman’s vision and safety without spooking game.
“These new camouflage flashlights reinforce the commitment Streamlight has made to increasing hunter safety,” said Streamlight President, Brad Penney. “Game can’t see the green color, but other hunters in the vicinity will. This allows positive identification of hunters in the field, lessening the likelihood of a hunter being mistaken for game by another hunter, especially in low-light conditions.”
The camouflage Twin-Task Rechargeable is ideal for all sorts of outdoor adventures and offers up to 16 hours of continuous runtime (3-LED setting). Streamlight’s patented LED/Xenon combo technology offers a choice of blue or green LEDs, or super-bright focusable Xenon white light in one super-versatile flashlight. All three light modes are easily selectable through a single multi-mode push button switch. Power is provided by a NiCd rechargeable battery stick, which offers up to sixteen hours of continuous runtime in either LED mode, or up to 50 minutes of continuous Xenon light. Built from lightweight yet tough machined aluminum with an enhanced knurled grip and full O-ring sealing, the Twin-Task Rechargeable weighs just one pound, including batteries.
Streamlight’s Key-Mate – the world’s smallest, brightest one-ounce machined aluminum flashlight – is now available in the Realtree Hardwoods® Green HD® camouflage pattern with a green LED. Engineered reflector optics deliver up to 400-percent more lighting range than traditional penlights. The Key-Mate’s efficient LED provides up to 96 hours of runtime at 4.3 lumens, and is powered by four alkaline button cell batteries. At less than one ounce and just 2.36 inches long, the compact Key-Mate can be attached to just about anything with its included pocket clip, neck lanyard and key ring. The 100,000 hour lifetime LED will never need replacement, and O-ring sealing makes the Key-Mate highly water resistant. Suggested retail price for the Key-Mate is $16.95.
Streamlight’s new camouflage ClipMate features an innovative 360-degree rotating head and spring-loaded clip mechanism, which offer unprecedented freedom in light placement. Powered by three “AAA” alkaline batteries (included), the ClipMate’s three high-intensity LEDs deliver 7.5 lumens of green light for up to 40 hours of continuous use. Lightweight yet tough thermoplastic construction keeps weight down to just 2.4 ounces, including batteries.
At 3.52 inches long, the ClipMate’s portability is enhanced by the included elastic head band and neck lanyard. Suggested retail price is $29.95.
