GAO Comm's visual fault locator, model 3C-04, has a light-weight, pen-shape design,thus is highly portable. The laser's high power 650nm can transmit continuous light or adjustable strobe light. This fault locator easily identifies cuts in fiber patch cords and ribbons or bunched pigtails. This compact locator has a measurement range of up to 5km and detects breaks and micro-bends even for jacketed fibers.
