CARLSBAD, Ca. - XENONICS HOLDINGS, INC. (Amex: XNN - News) announced today that it will introduce "SUPERVISION" which has been under development for nearly two years into the commercial markets. SUPERVISION is based on Xenonics' revolutionary night vision technology. The Company is finalizing the business plan for the introduction of the new product. A key component to the plan is to have a world class experienced marketing and sales team to spearhead the commercial effort. Xenonics is in the process of putting this marketing team in place.
SUPERVISION will allow the user to see in the dark with greater clarity than night vision, up to 300 yards with a zoom capability. The product is a small hand held device and weighs only 13 ounces. SUPERVISION is expected to retail at a fraction of the high-end night vision products.
"We believe that SUPERVISION will have a major impact on the night vision industry and at the same time make a substantial financial contribution to Xenonics," said Richard Naughton, CEO.
