ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Energizer Holdings posted first-quarter earnings that easily beat analyst estimates. Net earnings for the quarter were $120.5 million, or $1.77 a share, compared to $120.4 million, or $1.60 a share, a year ago. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call were estimating $1.61 a share.
