MILPITAS, Ca. -- Linear Technology Corp. has announced their LTC3410 buck regulator, which can provide up to 300 mA of current from an input voltage of 2.5 to 5.5 volts. Contained in a six lead, SC70 package, the regulator is suitable for use with single cell Li-ion, or multiple cell Alkaline/NiCD/NiMH battery configurations.

NINGBO CITY, China -- Ninghai Kefeng Lamp Decoration Co. Ltd has introduced its model KF20D66, an LED flashlight with an O-ring seal that makes it water-resistant. The flashlight can be fitted with a 1, 3 or 5W Luxeon LED bulb, and is designed to be powered by two CR123A batteries.

HONG KONG -- Germain Lighting Ltd has launched model GC900, a multifunction lantern that features a black-and-white TV. The lantern has two fluorescent tubes located at the back. Each of the tubes is protected by a plastic housing that swivels in different directions. The model is also equipped with a round blinker situated at the front. The 5.5-inch TV is located beneath the blinker.
