Ellenmary Michel - Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources

TORRANCE, Ca. - Fresh off integrating Hardigg Industries under its corporate umbrella, Pelican Products, a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and virtually indestructible cases, has promoted Ellenmary Michel as Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources.

"Ellenmary has demonstrated time and again her talent for creating and running our many different employee related programs. Ellenmary has a unique ability that allows her to successfully manage change and totally understand and embrace cultural differences," said Lyndon Faulkner, Pelican's President and CEO. "Her expertise has played a pivotal role in our global expansion strategy and the successful and seamless integration of Pelican and Hardigg."

For the last 12 years, Michel has administered all Pelican's Compensation, Benefits, Organizational Design and Development plans as well as several other key functions through three multi-million dollar corporate acquisitions. As a result, she has seen the company through an amazing era of growth which has increased employee counts from 500 to 1,500 within the last 4 years. Michel has also headed up recruiting and local regulation compliance for Pelican's global expansion which includes 12 different countries with 22 offices and six manufacturing facilities.

Prior to joining Pelican, Michel served in HR management roles at Bryant Mold & Die, M. Stephens Mfg, and Reuland Electric. Degrees include a B.A. in Communications from CSULB, and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from SHRM and is fluent in Spanish.
