SureFire 6PX™ Tactical Flashlight

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Ca. - SureFire, LLC, manufacturer of high-end illumination tools and tactical products, announces the release of its G2X™ and 6PX™ flashlights. While the pricing on these new lights may be lower than one might expect for a high-output LED SureFire, their quality most assuredly is not.

A total of four new models will be offered. Both the aluminum 6PX and the polymer/aluminum G2X come in a single-output "Tactical" version - featuring 200 lumens of light output activated with tactically correct momentary-press/twist-for-constant-on switching - and a dual-output (15 & 200 lumen) "Pro" version designed for outdoorsmen and industrial professionals that features click-on/off tailcap switching. Like all SureFire illumination tools, they're designed, machined and assembled at the company's Southern California facility and backed by its famous No-Hassle Warranty.

"In spite of the tough times, our mission is to keep quality products in the hands of our customers and keep jobs in the U.S.A.," said SureFire CEO/Founder Dr. John Matthews. "This was a big undertaking for SureFire, and I couldn't be more pleased with our employees, who worked so hard to make this happen."

These new competitively priced flashlights are the most affordable in SureFire's high-performance LED product line - but with no discernable difference in SureFire's legendary quality. Their virtually indestructible LEDs are electronically regulated to provide more output and runtime, and they deliver a blinding max output of 200 lumens, the brightest in their class.

The polymer used to construct the bodies of the G2X models is the same rugged, corrosion-proof Nitrolon® used in the G2L, and the aerospace aluminum bodies of the 6PX models feature more durable Mil-Spec Type III hard anodizing. Each flashlight's aluminum bezel is topped off with an anti-reflective polycarbonate lens that protects the LED and reflector while ensuring maximum light transmission.

All four models are powered by energy-dense SureFire 123A lithium batteries that are included. The G2X Tactical and Pro models retail for $55 and $65 respectively, while the aluminum 6PX Tactical and Pro have MSRPs of $69 and $79.
