5 LED PowerCap™ Lighted Hat

5 LED PowerCap™ Lighted Hat from Panther Vision

CHICAGO, Il. - The new Panther Vision 3-LED PowerCap™ lighted cap gives serious hunters, night anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts the power to see in the dark while keeping their hands free. Since the LED's are built into the cap, as long as you are wearing your cap, you'll always have hands-free light at the squeeze of a button.

The PowerCap™ lighted cap by Panther Vision (www.panthervision.com) illuminates what you're looking at without having to hold a flashlight or wear a bulky headlamp. Panther Vision PowerCaps™ use patent-pending C.U.B. (concealed under brim) lighting technology, which combines a single ultra-bright LED in the center of the brim for long-distance lighting, with two LEDs under the brim for close-up tasks, such as climbing a tree stand or tying the knot on a fishing lure. PowerCap™ also comes in a 5-LED version that adds two green LED's as a lighting option to preserve night vision.

This exclusive, three-way lighting technology means that outdoors enthusiasts now have a lighted cap that is truly up to the challenge of lighting their way in the dark, providing more convenience, safety and more hours of the day to pursue their love for hunting, angling and camping.

With a quick squeeze of the on/off button conveniently concealed in the brim of the cap, the light from Panther Vision's PowerCap provides three levels of lighting, from close-up reading distance, perfect for reading a map or tying a knot, to a distance of around 30 feet for walking and hiking. Because the LED lights are built into the brim, the LEDs illuminate where you look for a hands-free lighting experience. The PowerCap is powered with four lithium coin-sized cell batteries that provide up to 75 hours of continuous light and are easily replaceable.

The PowerCap™ offers hunters the light they need to safely set up for their hunts in the pre-dawn hours. It gives walleye, musky and catfish anglers who fish at night the lighting they need to tie on lures and safely net fish. The PowerCap™ gives campers and hikers the illumination to take a night hike or to set up camp in the dark. The PowerCap™ provides birders the light they desire to prepare optical equipment and read field guides. The Panther Vision PowerCap™ also is an indispensible tool to have on hand for emergencies, such as an automobile breakdown or a power outage, and can be used for any activity where you need light but need to keep your hands free.

"At Panther Vision, we're passionate about the outdoors, and we count among our employees hunters, anglers, campers, hikers, birders, runners, and bikers," said Mike Carter, vice president of marketing. "Based on our real life experiences, we've created the lighting technology that allows us to better pursue our love for the outdoors when those passions take us into the night or pre-dawn hours."

The Panther Vision PowerCap™ features a six-panel construction design built with rugged yet comfortable premium fabrics with a sandwich trim and premium comfort sweatband. The cap's durable Velcro closure allows for one size to fit most heads. The 3-LED PowerCap? is available in seven colors/patterns, including Realtree® AP camo, black, stone, navy, olive, blaze orange, and pink. The 5-LED PowerCap™ is available in Realtree® AP grey, and blaze orange. Suggested retail price: $19.99 to $24.99. Available at leading outdoors retailers nationwide such as Gander Mountain, Cabela's, Dick's sporting Goods, Bass Pro Shops, and Academy as well as on line at panthervision.com.
