PALO ALTO, Ca. - Etón Corporation, a leading creator of green-powered electronics and safety products, announces a $100,000 donation of Etón safety radios and preparedness products to support Japan relief efforts.

This donation will help provide light, information and energy to the earthquake and tsunami victims during their time of need.

The donation is being made to Operation USA, an international relief agency that helps communities at home and abroad overcome the effects of disasters, disease and endemic poverty by providing privately-funded relief, reconstruction and development aid. Operation USA will handle the distribution of products on the ground in Japan.

"We are fortunate to be in a position of giving during this time of disaster for the effected residents of Japan," said Esmail Hozour, CEO of Eton Corporation. "Our thoughts are with the many families who now face the reality of living without life's necessities. We are simply doing our small part to help restore a few of these necessities through our donation."
