VISTA, Ca. - After a disaster, light saves lives. FoxFury Lighting Solutions has outfitted Chasing4Life and its Disaster Response Team (C4LDRT) with new lights incorporating the latest LED technology to assist in post-disaster rescue and recovery efforts.

Chasing4Life helps track storms and provides assistance in areas affected by tornadoes, storms and other disasters. C4LDRT is currently in Joplin, MO assisting with recovery efforts.

"We're so excited to continue working with Eddy Weiss and his Chasing4Life team. They are such great people who put themselves in harm's way in order to help educate and assist communities in emergency management. We're stepping up to meet more of their lighting needs as they're busier than ever responding to disasters large and small,' said Antonio Cugini, Director of Marketing of FoxFury.

FoxFury equipped the C4LDRT with LED headlamps (and helmet lights), utility lights and flashlights in 2009 and 2010. Additional lights, including the Nomad 3600 LED Area-Spot Light, were provided this year to fill even more of the team's lighting needs.

"There's no way anyone could miss the need out there for well-equipped disaster response teams," stated Weiss. "The first thing that happens in a community when these disasters strike is that the town goes dark. FoxFury's products have been an unbelievable asset!"

C4LDRT is comprised of volunteers from all over the country that have undergone training, have backgrounds in emergency response work, or have specialties in areas related to disaster response and recovery. The team's members have responded to disasters from Florida to Haiti and from North Carolina to Iowa. They work with communities as well as larger organizations like the Girls Scouts and ASPCA.

"These are not just tools that FoxFury has supplied our teams. They are a lifeline," said Nikki Thompson, a C4LDRT Coordinator. "The safety of our people has been greatly enhanced by these new lights. The safer our people are, the more work they get done. The more work, the faster the recovery process!"
