Canadian portable lighting manufacturer brings solar-powered LED warning lights to Lima, Peru
R247C Solar-powered LED Warning Flasher
VICTORIA, B.C. - Carmanah has received an order from the City of Lima, Peru for a number of units of its R247C solar-powered LED warning flasher. These units will be installed on one of the City's busiest roadways.
The City of Lima was looking for a cost-effective solution to warn motorists there is a toll plaza located after a horizontal curve with poor sight lines in a high traffic zone. Carmanah's fully self-contained, compact and autonomous R247C will increase roadway safety by flashing 24 hours per day. This installtion of solar LED warning flashers will be Carmanah's first in South America.
