ARC Li-ion HID Battery Pack

ARC Li-ion HID Battery Pack

MONTEREY, Ca. - Because of a manufacturing defect Light & Motion has decided to recall a limited number of 2003 ARC Li-ion Lithium Ion batteries. These batteries were sold with the Light & Motion ARC Li-ion HID system baring the part#856-0076-A, 856-0081-A, and separately as 804-0065-A.

Light & Motion in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) are voluntarily recalling the Lithium Ion batteries that were sold with this system because of the possibility that the affected batteries may overheat and become a burn or fire hazard.

This bulletin affects ONLY part#856-0076-A, 856-0081-A 2004 ARC Li-ion HID lights and the 804-0065-A Li-ion Battery shipped from Light & Motion after November 2003 and bearing the Manufacture Codes; 1003,1103 (see illustration.) This Bulletin DOES NOT include any batteries that have a different part number, a manufacture’s code greater that 1103, or any Light & Motion NiMH systems.

If you have this battery or lighting system please complete the li-ion battery return form for a RMA# and a UPS return shipping label. Returned batteries will be replaced and returned to you in approximately 5-10 days from the date we receive them.

If you have any questions or concerns about the product(s) involved in the bulletin please contact us at 831-645-1538.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Sincerely, Light & Motion
