(Amex: XNN) a leader in advanced illumination and low light viewing technology, is pleased to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has awarded a Notice of Allowance in a Xenonics U.S. patent application relating to digital low-light viewing devices. With 33 claims, the patent application allowed for issuance as a U.S. patent covers the technology behind Xenonics' state of the art ruggedized digital low light viewing devices, including its SuperVision™ line of night vision products. With over a dozen patent properties either pending or having already issued, Xenonics maintains a strong intellectual property portfolio and this recent notification from the USPTO further strengthens Xenonics' intellectual property position.
