Exclusive agreement with spa industry leader Universal Companies
LED VOTIVE CANDLE SET
DALLAS, Tx. - Lighting Science Group Corporation (OTCBB:LSGP) entered into a distribution agreement with Universal Companies Inc., the leading singlesource supplier to the spa industry in North America. After purchasing more than 2,000 candles driven by their strong customer demand, Universal will distribute Lighting Science’s LED votive candles to its customers in the spa industry on an exclusive basis.
Founded in 1982, Universal Companies, Inc. has more than 100 employees, and supplies spa products to over 45,000 customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Products are sold through its direct mail catalogues and account executives who directly market to some of the largest spas in the United States.
Lighting Science’s LED votive candles are rechargeable. More importantly, the candles do not utilize hot wax or present fire hazards, but their full, flickering light provides the ambience of traditional votive candles.
