Fraen FC LENS
READING, Ma. - Fraen Corporation has released a new family of optical lenses designed for use with the CREE XLamp 7090XR and the new CREE XR-E light emitting diodes (LED). The new optical lens line includes lenses with three different beam patterns, as well as optional holders to allow proper alignment between LED and optic.
The FC lens offers low-profile lenses especially designed for the XLamp® 7090XR and XR-E LEDs(1) from CREE. A software-optimized aspheric profile enables the generation of 3 different beam output patterns: narrow, medium and wide .
The high collection efficiency reaches 85% of the total flux emitted by the LEDs.
Lens holders are available in black, and provide the proper alignment between the LEDs and the lenses. Holders can be simply placed on PCB or, for a better mechanical strength, the holder can be glued on the PCB
