GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman - O2Micro® International Limited , a leading supplier of innovative power management, and security components and systems, was issued 15 claims under United States patent number 7,180,268 for its Battery Charging Integrated Circuit (IC) architecture. This patent addresses Battery Charging circuitry that measures and controls pre-charge, enhancing safety in battery charging systems for portable electronic devices. Portable devices include notebook computers, PDAs, cell phones, power tools, etc.
