BLAST 2 Laser and Tactical Light System from Laser Devices, Inc.

MONTEREY, Ca. - Laser Devices, Inc., manufacturer of state-of-the-art visible and infrared aiming lasers, handheld and weapon-mounted tactical lights and small arms training systems is pleased to announce a new pressure pad switch option to activate our popular BLAST 2 and LAS/TAC 2 line of tactical products. The pressure switches vary in length to allow the user to choose a configuration that will custom fit their pistol or rifle.

Users can easily remove the original toggle lever switch tailcap located on the rear of the BLAST 2 or LAS/TAC 2 housing and replace it with the new tailcap with the pressure pad switch feature. The new tailcap is available for a variety of firearm manufacturers including Glock, Smith & Wesson, Heckler & Koch, SIG, Beretta, Springfield, IMI and Walther. In addition, it can also be used on rifles and submachine guns equipped with MIL-SPEC-1913 rail systems.

Those who liked the functionality of the original tailcap will not be sacrificing any of the existing capabilities. The new tailcap still incorporates the toggle lever on the rear which activates the device continuously when pushed up or in a momentary mode when pushed down. Like the original tailcap, the new pressure pad tailcap is molded from high impact polymer and meets MIL-STD requirements for durability.

The BLAST 2 laser and tactical light combo system is available with a visible or infrared laser and a 6-volt, 95 lumen incandescent lamp or a 5-watt, 125 lumen LED. The LAS/TAC 2 can be configured with either a visible or infrared laser module or as a tactical light with a 6-volt, 95 lumen incandescent lamp or a 5-watt, 125 lumen LED. A variety of mounting options are available to accommodate the largest selection of military and law enforcement firearms available.
