SALT LAKE CITY, Ut. - Black Diamond Equipment Ltd., a global leader in the climbing and freeride ski markets, is proud to host the 6th Annual Climb4Life Salt Lake event benefiting the HERA Women's Ovarian Cancer Foundation, September 13 - 16, 2007, at Black Diamond, 2084 East 3900 South, Salt Lake City.

Sean Patrick, Executive Director and Founder, comments, “Climb4Life raises awareness in women who are active and healthy while empowering females to take control of their health, assist funding of research scientists to find new directions in early detection and provide a community of support.”

Peter Metcalf, Black Diamond CEO adds, “We have partnered with Sean Patrick and HERA from the beginning, hosting the very first Climb4Life event and we are awed by the energy and positive impact they have achieved. Black Diamond is proud to continue to play host of this event as it has grown and extended the values of climbing beyond the vertical realm and into mainstream society.”

The event kicks off at Black Diamond Thursday, September 13, with a party at the Brookside Broiler and Grill. Throughout the weekend, yoga, rock climbing sessions, meals and a slide show by mountaineer Tonya Riggs, “Dare to Dream: Beyond Everest,” highlight the activities.
